In 1997-1999 members of our team have carried-out sale of the stakes in the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company to private investors, the leading commercial banks. As a preparation for this sale a profound restructuring, strategy update and fine-tuning of the business was carried-out under supervision and with direct participation of ours. Non-core assets were spun-off and disposed as separate deals, all the necessary materials were successfully prepared for the privatization that was completed successfully in 1998.
Starting from 1999 and until 2010 Grigory Dudarev acted as a member of the Nokia Advisory Board and was responsible for the updates on the telecoms and related business and strategy together with the operational team of Nokia and Nokia Siemens. In the course of the undertaking multiple investment and acquisition projects were assessed and investment in the manufacturing JV in Tomsk region was carried out.
In 2008 we assisted on of the leading Nordic media companies in evaluating entry to the market and possible M&A targets.
In 2007-2008 we worked on exit of the owners of the printed media companies Klakson and Sobesednik. These mandates have created a very good understanding of the printed media business.
We, in 2008, have also assisted Satama Interactive Plc, at the time a leading IT advisor in Finland focused on online business development, in their entry strategy. We worked on alternatives and helped in assessing the possible acquisition targets.
Later, after 2010, as the focus of this business area has shifted online we were and are still involved in a number of digital media cases. This allowed us to maintain and develop very up-to-date understanding of the fastest growing segment of the industry.
At the moment we are also involved in partial sale of the international telecom operator (MVNO).
